The Labyrinth at F & C
Established in 1997, the Labyrinth at First & Central is painted on canvas and is a replica of the medieval labyrinth inlaid in the floor of Chartres cathedral in France. The Labyrinth at First & Central is located in Memorial Hall on the church's lower level. Visitors to the labyrinth will find a quiet, peaceful atmosphere enhanced by subdued lighting, candlelight and meditative music. Finger labyrinths are also available upon request.
The Mission of the First & Central Labyrinth Program is to make the labyrinth available to all who are interested in walking and learning from it. Our goals are to provide a place for reflection, meditation, healing and peace and to nurture a labyrinth community that shares thoughts, learning, and experiences of walking the labyrinth with one another and with other labyrinth enthusiasts locally, regionally and world-wide.
Hours of Operation: The Labyrinth at First & Central is open to visitors on Wednesdays from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. (last walker beginning by 6:30 p.m.).

Walk and Music Schedule

1st Wednesdays: Monthly Theme Walk -- Music: Ambient (bells, gongs, chimes, Tibetan bowls, etc.) or Special Music
2nd Wednesdays: Special, Seasonal (Quarterly) and Silent (Quarterly) Walks
3rd Wednesdays -- Music: Flutes from various cultures/traditions
4th Wednesdays: Healing Sound Walk -- Selections of music and sound for self-healing
5th Wednesdays -- Music: New selections!
Special Walks for All Souls' and Good Friday.

Labyrinth Hosts are on duty throughout the day to assist new walkers and answer labyrinth related questions. Hosts can be found in the Labyrinth Cafe. If there is no host on duty and you need assistance, please ask for the Labyrinth Coordinator at the church office.
The Labyrinth Cafe: Refresh yourself before or after your walk with tea and cookies in the Labyrinth Cafe located on the church's Lower Level in the lobby outside Memorial Hall. You are welcome to bring your lunch with you and eat in the cafe when you come to walk.
